Cell Phones: Are We Hooked on a Deadly Obsession?
by Denise Knapp

Can you imagine anyone leaving home today without a cell phone? Cell phones entered the market in 1984 with relatively few people racing to own one. Now, over twenty years later, more than 200 million Americans use cell phones. The wireless industry has profoundly transformed the lives of us all, both at home and in business. In fact, it has become a lucrative, worldwide, multibillion-dollar-a-year industry.

People everywhere have embraced all things wireless. While these technologies offer a world of new and exciting possibilities, there are also dangers.

Is there something the wireless industry is not telling us?
Mona, a dear friend in Washington , discovered first-hand the dark side of using a cell phone every day for long hours at a time. Some years ago, Mona was separated by several hundred miles from her husband for more than three years. They called each other daily to discuss the happenings in their lives. Only when her right cheek developed a sore that never healed did she become concerned. Located on the same side of her face where she held her cell phone, the sore was diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma. Today, Mona feels there is no doubt that her cell phone was a key factor in causing her skin cancer.

Cordless phones may be just as unsafe as cell phones since they emit the same dangerous levels of Electro-Magnetic Frequency (EMF) (See Levitt, 1995). Studies show that high levels of EMF may also be a cause for headaches, fatigue, tissue swelling, memory impairment, learning difficulties, and insomnia. And, don’t overlook other devices using wireless technology. In addition, a child’s brain may be even more compromised by the EMF effect because it absorbs microwaves at 3.3 times the rate of an adult’s brain (Carlo 2001). Some doctors are concerned that EMF-exposure can lead to psychiatric and behavioral problems, or even impair the ability to learn.

Electro-Magnetic Radiation/Frequency (EMR/EMF) can be measured in cell phones, cordless phones, computers, hair dryers, microwave ovens, automobiles, and other electrical and electronic devices. The problem is that EMR and EMF exist everywhere. As medical researcher, Robert O. Becker, M.D., writes in his book The Body Electric, “At the present time, the greatest polluting element in the earth’s environment . . . more serious even than global climate change and chemical pollution . . . is the proliferation of electro-magnetic fields.”

What can we do?
One solution to dangerous cell phone EMF is a harmonization chip. This chip was tested by New Zealand Medical Researcher, Dr. D. Taylor, and proved to be highly successful. The inexpensive EMF harmonizing chip is activated and programmed to harmonize the range of frequencies emanating from cell phones, cordless phones, and other EMF emitting devices, converting them into harmless frequency waves. Once the chip is applied to the phone, or any other device, it protects you from the harmful EMF radiation.

After Mona’s experience with skin cancer, she switched her cell phone to the opposite side of her face where, months later, several small bumps appeared near her ear. But since learning of the harmonizing cell phone chips and placing one chip near the antenna of her phone, all bumps have disappeared!

Wireless technology appears to be here to stay. Do we need to protect ourselves from the dangers of increased EMF radiation? The following books may be helpful to you in learning more:
