When I grew up we never spoke about money in my family. My father's salary was a great secret that nobody discussed because the answer was always, "It's none of your business". Only now in my fifth decade am I beginning to learn secrets of financial success. Thanks to Robert Kiyosaki in Rich Dad, Poor Dad I have learned one of the first rules to financial success and that is to acquire some knowledge, or as he puts it "financial intelligence". This book is filled with ideas on how to get started on your path to financial freedom. Robert explains in simple terms, through his life experiences, the "beingness" or attitude it takes to be wealthy. In his later books, tapes and games he teaches more of the "doingness" to becoming wealthy. Do I need to be making a high income to become wealthy? Robert says "no" and explains why. One of the keys to wealth, Robert says, is to make your money work hard for you instead of working hard for money. What can you do to gain financial security for yourswelf and your future generations? Begin by reading this book. Available at Light In Motion. Tradepaper $15.95. 1223 W. 27th Ave. |
