Expectations are planned resentments.

They can spoil the natural evolution of events.

When I enter a situation demanding a particular outcome, I can easily miss some wonderful possibilities. I limit my own self more than anyone else can even dream of.

I don't always envision the best outcome. I think I do, but it doesn't turn out that way.

I end up being dragged, screaming, to a better outcome.
