Choosing ME Before WE: Every Woman's Guide to Life and Love
Christine Arylo (New World Library, 2009; soft-cover, $14.95)

In this important book the author offers a variety of different ways to honor and love ourselves completely. She digs deep and asks tons of stimulating heartfelt questions. She also asks us to be impeccably honest with our answers. The techniques really do help you become more self-aware and actually teach you how to love yourself. I especially like the Vow of Self-Love and Happiness: " I, (insert your name here), make the promise to fall more and more in love with myself every day for the rest of my life; to make my happiness a priority always and take every action and make every decision with self-love and happiness as my guideposts." I wish I could've read this book 30 years ago. Christine Arylo really shows you how by honoring and loving ourselves, we are our own priority. I'm not used to living that way, so I'm thankful there's a book that shows us how. I believe every woman would really benefit by reading this wonderful book!

Quantum Touch Core Transformation: A New Way to Heal and Alter Reality
Alain and Jody Herriott (North Atlantic Books, 2009; soft-cover, $19.95)

After many years of studying, teaching and practicing the fundamentals of Quantum Touch techniques, the authors developed their own style of energy healing: Core Transformation. This interesting book looks at the basics of how our bodies and mind not only interact with reality but create reality. With an understanding of how energy flows through us (and the world), the idea here is to access the core issue of a problem while embracing the calm, balanced state of bliss needed to allow the body to do its healing work—whatever healing might be needed in the body or mind—naturally. The book includes many exercises accompanied by black and white photos, as well as thorough explanations of how to proceed, along with what you might feel, sense or experience. Designed to be a guide for energy-work practitioners or for oneself, the book is easily accessible by all who are looking for ways to fine tune healing (be it of oneself or others). It is also an encouragement for balanced health for all.

Spiritual Wisdom on Health and Healing
Harold Klemp (Eckankar, 2006; soft-cover booklet, $2.95)

Harold Klemp offers the unique perspective of illness as fundamentally a spiritual issue; as such, healing transcends the cure of the bodily condition. To understand this, we must grasp the idea of karma — the notion that there are consequences for every action (both positive and negative) — and the process of balancing karma through many lives. Each life serves as a skin for the soul on its quest for God and an opportunity to gain experiences to wisdom, love and transcendence. Klemp offers specific techniques to become aware of karmic issues, including dreams, chanting, and healing/guidance from inner teachers. In my practice I have seen a variety of challenging health issues, some of which are clear in cause and others which remain mysterious in terms of cause or treatment. In like manner, I find some patients are ready to look at the deeper questions of health and illness while others are not. Soul moves at its own pace of learning. For some, the struggle towards awareness is the lesson. Whatever the pace, we must respect the natural, unfolding process of Soul. There is a lot of information packed in this small volume for those ready to learn more and open awareness.
